Aaron Rodgers recalls losing friends and family over his controversial views in his new three-part Netflix series, “Enigma.”

On Tuesday, Netflix released a trailer for the upcoming series, which follows the New York Jets quarterback’s attempt to rebound after his career was affected by his Achilles heel injury in September 2023 and his controversies.

The clip starts with the New York Jets quarterback detailing how he lives between two being an extrovert and an introverted “lover of silence,” adding, “I’m trying to beat back Father Time and the expectations.”

The trailer then jumps to clips of him losing his temper on the field, as well as news excerpts that call him an anti-vaxxer.

“Aaron Rodgers ain’t for everybody,” sports journalist Stephen A. Smith says in the trailer as another commentator adds, “Rodgers has shared controversial and crazy conspiracy theories.”

“Losing friendships, family. It was heartbreaking,” Rodgers, 41, seemingly says in response to his reputation.

The trailer alludes to the fair share of drama that the NFL player has been involved in through the years, including an estrangement from his family.

His father, Ed Rodgers, previously claimed Aaron stopped speaking to their family after he started dating Olivia Munn in 2014.

His brother, Jordan Rodgers, also slammed him for not checking in on their family during the 2014 wildfires in California but donating $1 million to victims.

The former Green Bay Packers star has also been vocal about several conspiracy theories surrounding 9/11 and the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in 2012.

CNN previously reported that Aaron believed the school shooting, which claimed the lives of 26 people, was the result of a government inside job and that there were paid actors involved.

In November 2022, Packers backup quarterback DeShone Kizer claimed that his teammate once asked him if he thought the 9/11 plane crashes were real.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Aaron, seen above with RFK Jr., repeatedly questioned how safe the vaccines were. He also refused to wear a mask or get vaccinated. Netflix
