These boots are made for, uh, tree-trimming?
Yesterday, Kate Beckinsale shared an Instagram video showing off her massive Christmas tree, which she decorated while clad in some hilariously impractical 8-inch heels.
The “Serendipity” actor hung up her ornaments while wearing her Dolls Kill Never Censored Platform Boots ($199 $108); one shoe reads “F—K” along the side in silver spikes, while the other completes the spicy phrase with “YOU.”
Beckinsale teamed the over-the-top footwear with a soft pink cardigan, a white blouse, black high-rise hot pants and white lace tights.
“Everyone I love is represented on my tree, including my daughters insane, elderly adopted cat that she inherited from someone who died in her apartment building and whose family did not want him, and with whom she is now in a full-blown Clive level level affair ….welcome to the family, Cat ,” Beckinsale captioned her post.
Standing at the top of a three-step ladder, the actress somehow managed to put the finishing touches on her fir in the sky-high shoes, all while holding her feline friend.
In the following photos, she shows her pastel pink-dyed pet wearing a salmon-colored shirt with baby blue details.
Followers gave Beckinsale a round of applause for the impressive balancing act.
“Good gods you are a brave woman! Balancing on one boot on the top of the ladder. I could only wish I was that cool… or crazy. (In the best way! ),” one person commented.
A second added, “Beautiful tree. Also, your balance! I’d fall over. Mad skills.”
