Prince William and King Charles give in to Kate Middleton as the future Queen gets her wish with children George, Charlotte and Louis

The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, has secured a significant milestone for her children as Marlborough College, her alma mater, is set to become their school of choice.

Prince William and King Charles give in to Kate Middleton as the future Queen gets her wish with children George, Charlotte and Louis

The prestigious Wiltshire institution is expected to welcome Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, marking a meaningful connection to their mother’s educational roots.

Insiders confirm that preparations are already underway for Prince George, the eldest of the three, to begin his studies at the £59,000-a-year boarding school.

Discussions about housing arrangements have centered on security, ensuring the young prince’s safety as he embarks on this next chapter of his education.

Marlborough College, known for its rich history and expansive 286-acre campus, offers a blend of academic excellence and cultural heritage.

The school features six all-boys’ houses, six all-girls’ houses, and four mixed houses. For Prince George, C1 House, located in the heart of the College Court, has been identified as the most suitable option.

A source familiar with the discussions shared, “Parents are eagerly talking about this development. Security is a significant factor, and housing George in one of the central ‘in houses’ near the main quad ensures greater control and safety. The ‘out houses,’ located along Bath Road, pose more risks due to their scattered layout.”

C1 House is steeped in history, having once been home to the Seymour family of Wolf Hall fame.

Lady Jane Seymour, King Henry VIII‘s third wife, adds a royal connection to the house’s legacy, complementing Marlborough’s storied alumni list, which includes figures like poets Siegfried Sassoon and John Betjeman, comedian Jack Whitehall, and Princess Eugenie.

This choice fulfills Kate Middleton‘s longstanding desire to integrate her children’s education with her own legacy at Marlborough. The decision reflects a modern approach to royal upbringing, balancing tradition, security, and practicality.

As Prince George prepares to become the first of the trio to attend, this decision underscores the family’s commitment to providing a nurturing and well-rounded educational experience.

Marlborough College’s blend of heritage and modernity promises to shape the next generation of royals while deepening the family’s historical ties to the institution.

This move sets the stage for Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis to follow in their mother’s footsteps, ensuring a robust foundation for their future roles within the royal family.
