The Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Kate are reportedly being fast tracked to take on the roles of King and Queen of England.

PRINCE WILLIAM, KATE ‘FAST TRACKED’ TO THRONE

A source claims that Prince William and Kate Middleton have been invited to Donald Trump’s inauguration on 20 January in Washington, DC, according to Fox News. This comes after Prince William met with 47th President-elect, Donald J. Trump last month. The pair were reopening the Notre Dame Cathedral, where Prince William was representing his father, King Charles.

His Majesty has had limited travel due to his health. In February 2024, Buckingham Palace revealed that King Charles was diagnosed with cancer. Reports further revealed that he will continue his cancer treatment in 2025.

Meanwhile, Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton has reportedly been focusing on reactivating her charity work, which she started in 2023. In March 2024, Princess Kate revealed that she was also diagnosed with cancer. However, in September 2024 she revealed that she is cancer-free, after undergoing chemotherapy.

The publication reports that Prince William and Kate are being fast tracked to take on more royal duties and this is reportedly due to King Charles and Camilla’s age. The King and Queen are now in their 70s.

This comes after reports claimed that Prince William and Kate have kick-started their preparations for becoming King and Queen of England. Royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith claimed that the Prince and Princess of Wales have began gearing up for his ascension.

“Although the king is carrying out his duties with typical determination, he has had to accept limitations during his cancer treatment,” Bedell Smith told People.

“As a result William has been taking on more responsibilities, and he and Kate have been preparing for their future roles sooner than they would have expected,” Smith continued.
