You won’t believe where Prince William and Kate went after brutal year

In a rare moment of privacy, Prince William and Kate Middleton, alongside their three children, made a discreet visit to the Swiss Alps for a much-needed skiing retreat.

The royal family, fresh from a return to their public duties, sought solace in the snow-capped mountains following a year marked by health challenges and family uncertainties.

The family of five, including Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, spent nearly two weeks in the picturesque Swiss region after Christmas.

A source close to the family revealed that the group quietly departed their Sandringham estate, Anmer Hall, for the special trip, enjoying the peaceful and scenic surroundings.

Accompanying them on the getaway was Kate Middleton’s family, including her parents and siblings. The trip seemed to serve as a celebratory moment for the Princess of Wales, who recently overcame a personal health battle.

After announcing her cancer diagnosis in March of the previous year, Kate shared an emotional video with the public in September, revealing that she was “cancer-free” after undergoing nine months of preventative chemotherapy.

During their stay, the Wales family was spotted dining at one of their favorite local restaurants, frequented by British skiers. The restaurant’s staff noted that the family appeared “just like a normal English family,” with many patrons unaware of their royal identity. One staff member commented, “It was lovely to see Kate relaxing and enjoying herself,” further emphasizing the family’s desire for a low-key vacation.

The family’s love for the area is well-known, with the Middleton family having visited the region numerous times over the years. “We often see Kate’s sister Pippa as well,” said the source, reflecting the close ties the family has with the Alps.
