Angelina Jolie’s new favorite shoes are a total throwback — and will set you back over $1,000

Talk about future nostalgia.

Angelina Jolie appears to have a quick yet resolute new fashion obsession that puts a twist on an old favorite style.

The “Maria” actress, 49, has been spotted in two different versions of Celine’s platform mules three separate times in the same amount of days.

The platform style was reminiscent of a popular shoe from the early aughts, though the high-fashion pair is worth more than $1,000. TheImageDirect.com

First, she stepped out in frigid NYC temperatures on Monday in the black velvet backless heels ($1,100), baring her toes and showing off a dark pedicure in the process.

Earlier that day, Jolie switched it up for a slightly more weather appropriate yellow shearling version of the same style ($1,250).

And, on Tuesday, the mom of six tripled down on the look, returning back to the black velvet pair while visiting her Atelier Jolie shop.

The chunky shoe is reminiscent of the iconic style popularized in the nineties by the Spice Girls and Steve Madden.

The early aughts sensibility has even come back with such a force that the shoe brand has reissued a similar style — for a much more affordable $89.95.

It seems that not only has Jolie taken a quick liking to the high-fashion heels, but she’s also got a uniform for the cold days of winter.

Jolie simply couldn’t get enough; the following day, she went back to the black velvet pair with a more tailored — yet familiar — outfit. Christopher Peterson / SplashNews.com
