She’s all grown up.
Last night, Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s 12-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, shut down the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Calif., for the premiere of her first film, “Mufasa: The Lion King.”
The preteen turned heads in a custom-made metallic gold gown courtesy of Christian Siriano.

12 “The Stunninggggg #BLUEIVYCARTER in custom Siriano tonight looking more gilded and glamorous than ever! 🤎🤎 #mufasathelionking,” the New York-based designer wrote in an Instagram caption showing the budding star.
She paired the ballgown, which boasted a draped heart neckline and voluminous full skirt, with gold earrings and subtle rings, skipping larger jewelry.
Blue Ivy’s makeup — gold shadow, rosy cheeks and a red lip — took her look to the next level.

12 Of course, her proud mom got sentimental over the special moment.
“My gorgeous baby girl,” the “Cuff It” singer captioned a post of her daughter from last night. “This is your night. You worked hard and you did such a beautiful job as the voice of Kiara. Your family could not be prouder. Keep shining.”
“Look at the BABYYYYYYY oh my goodness 🥹,” her makeup artist, Sir John, wrote in the comment section. Another said, “I’m emotional because this is the longest caption you’ve ever written B anddd look how much she’s grownnnn. 🥹”

The “Texas Hold ‘Em” musician coordinated with her daughter in a strapless gold Balmain gown while Jay-Z chose a chocolate brown suit.
Marking her feature film debut, Blue Ivy is the voice of Kiara, the oldest daughter of Queen Nala. Beyoncé herself voiced Nala in the 2019 live-action “The Lion King” and is reprising her role in the prequel.
And the matching mother/daughter moment isn’t their first; Beyoncé and Blue sported coordinating black and silver bejeweled Alexander McQueen blazers over glittering tulle skirts to the 2019 premiere.

12 Though she’s only 12, the famous tween already has quite the resume.
During the summer of 2023, she showed off her dancing chops on her mom’s “Renaissance” tour, nailing the choreography for repeat performances of “My Power” — one of the songs from Bey’s “The Lion King: The Gift,” a companion album to the live-action film.
Since then, Blue has been making occasional public appearances with her A-lister parents, such as at the 2024 Grammy Awards and Super Bowl.
