Cheryl Cole — the mother of Liam Payne’s 7-year-old son, Bear — was seen at the late singer’s funeral in England on Wednesday.
The singer, who dated Payne for more than two years before their split in 2018, looked somber as she departed the funeral service, wearing an all-black sensible with a long trench coat and heels.
She wore her auburn locks in a half-up, half-down style with face-framing pieces covering half her features.
It’s unclear whether the “Call My Name” songstress brought her and Payne’s son, Bear, to the funeral.
Payne’s girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, and his former One Direction bandmates — Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan — also came to pay their last respects to the late singer, who died on Oct. 16 after falling from his third-floor balcony.
The “Night Changes” singer’s parents, Geoff and Karen Payne, were also in attendance, as well as “X Factor” judge Simon Cowell.
Liam’s casket, which was adorned with white roses, was brought to the church in a horse-drawn carriage. Atop the glass box that held the casket, the words “SON” and “DADDY” were written in red flowers.
Liam died after fainting and falling from his third-floor hotel balcony while he was staying at the Casa Sur Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was 31.
Buenos Aires police said in a statement that the ex-boy band member’s fall resulted in “extremely serious injuries.”
Following his death, authorities discovered that Liam’s hotel room was filled with drug paraphernalia and alcohol.
There was also an empty Dove soap packet, a burning candle, a burnt soda can top and a piece of aluminum foil on the desk in his room.
Police believe the Dove box was used to “secretly hand off” illegal substances to the crooner.
A toxicology report revealed that the pop star — whose death is not being ruled a suicide — had multiple drugs in his system, including crack, cocaine and “pink cocaine,” a recreational drug that typically mixes methamphetamine, ketamine, MDMA and others.
