Jill Zarin’s daughter, Ally Shapiro, and Jordan Bilfeld have called off their engagement — just two months after the VaynerMedia director proposed, Page Six has learned.
“After much reflection, [they have] made the difficult decision to end their engagement,” the “Real Housewives of New York City” alum told us in a statement. “And as a family, we are focused on supporting [Ally] through this time. We appreciate your understanding and request privacy on this personal matter.”
Reps for Shapiro and Bilfeld did not immediately respond to our requests for comment.
A source told Page Six on Thursday that there were already “issues” between Shapiro and Bilfield when they threw an engagement party in the Hamptons in late September.
We’re told the duo — who began dating in January 2022 — hoped the relationship would just “settle down” and decided to put on a united front in the meantime.
But last week “a decision was made” to call off the engagement, according to insiders. We’re told their friends are shocked by the news.
Since they went their separate ways, Shapiro — who appeared on Bravo’s the “Real Housewives of New York City” with her mom — seems to have been dropping hints online, posting videos that showed her moving into a studio apartment and lip-syncing to an emotional song.
In one TikTok, the 31-year-old noticeably wasn’t wearing her engagement ring while staring into the camera and passionately mouthing the words to the Gracie Abrams hit “That’s So True.”
“Made it out alive, but I think I lost it / Said that I was fine, said it from the coffin / Remember how I died when you started walking? That’s my life, that’s my life,” the lyrics read in part. “I’ll put up a fight, taking out my earrings / Don’t you know the vibe? Don’t you know the feeling? You should spend the night, catch me on your ceiling / That’s your prize, that’s your prize, Well?”
She then shared two more videos of Zarin and her boyfriend, Gary Brody, helping her move into a smaller apartment amid the split rumors.
Zarin, 60, and Brody were busy unpacking boxes, organizing drawers and helping with decorations. She ended the video with Zarin making a frowning face and kissing Shapiro on her forehead.
“When you don’t realize how much you needed your parents until they drop everything for you,” Shapiro wrote over the TikTok video.
Meanwhile on Instagram, Shapiro scrubbed her feed clean of any pics from her engagement party.
The reality star was just sharing sweet videos with her fiancé — and gushing over their engagement — in several TikToks posted earlier this month.
The Jill and Ally co-founder shared TikToks of them holding hands, enjoying date nights together and even celebrating a Jewish holiday with her parents throughout the month of October.
The posts came after Bilfeld popped the question in August while they were on a trip to Spain.
Shapiro announced the then-exciting news in several Instagram Stories at the time, showing off her circular engagement ring.
