While Ivanka Trump has stayed far away from the campaign trail, we hear the former first daughter is by Donald Trump’s side tonight.
A source told Page Six earlier on Election Day that Ivanka, 43, would join Donald, 78, at his Florida private club Mar-a-Lago.
On Tuesday night another source confirmed that Ivanka was at Mar-a-Lago with her husband, Jared Kushner, 43. Others spotted at the gathering included Caitlyn Jenner, Tiffany Trump and her husband, Michael Boulos, and the Republican candidate’s sons Barron, Eric and Don Jr.
Trump booster and Tesla billionaire Elon Musk was also at Mar-a-Lago for the election night event which the New York Times had reported would include a “dinner for a small number of donors… and an even smaller gathering for those who will hang out with him during the evening.”
We hear Musk attended with one of his children.
Another source told us that outside Trump’s inner circle there were also “groups” of people headed to the club earlier on Tuesday, being transported by a “caravan of buses” from a local Hilton hotel.
“There is crazy security,” said a source en route. “The bomb sniffing dogs came on the bus.”
Ivanka and Kushner — who served as advisors to her father while he was in the White House — have been noticeably absent from his campaign.
Ivanka’s brothers, Don Jr. and Eric, have been more prominent fixtures on the campaign trail.
Last week Kushner, 43, told the Times there was “zero” chance they would be stepping in for the final stretch and he added that Ivanka, “made the decision when she left Washington that she was closing that chapter of her life. And she’s been remarkably consistent.”
“Obviously the world is different for us over the next four years if her father is president,” Kushner, also a former White House adviser, said.
“We’re rooting for him — obviously, we’re proud of him,” he said. “But, you know, either way, our life will just continue to move forward.”
A rep for Ivanka did not comment.
