Kate Middleton attends Remembrance Sunday with Prince William and King Charles after cancer battle

Kate Middleton attended her second event of the weekend to commemorate Remembrance Day after completing chemotherapy.

The Princess of Wales, 42, joined her husband, Prince William, and her father-in-law, King Charles III, at the Cenotaph war memorial in London on Sunday to honor military members who died in service.

Middleton appeared on the balcony above the Cenotaph war memorial in London to observe the ceremony while standing next to Prince Edward’s wife, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh.

The women watched as Charles and William laid wreaths at the foot of the Cenotaph. At 11 a.m. local time, the monarch also led a national two-minute silence.

Middleton stunned in a black Catherine Walker & Co. coat dress with a velvet bow at the neck. She also wore her traditional three poppies brooch, which serves as a symbol of remembrance, and a silver Queen’s Dragoon Guards brooch, which references her role as the regiment’s Colonel-in-Chief.

Charles’ wife, Queen Camilla, did not attend as she has been battling a chest infection. However, she was represented by her own wreath, which was laid on her behalf by her aide, Major Ollie Plunket, The Rifles.

Middleton also joined her family at Royal Albert Hall for the Festival of Remembrance on Saturday.

This weekend marked Middleton’s first appearance at major ceremonial events since announcing she was done with cancer treatments in September.

The royal first announced her diagnosis in March and spent six months seeking treatment in private.

Despite attending Trooping the Colour in June and Wimbledon in July, she has yet to fully jump back into work.

However, royal author Robert Jobson revealed earlier this month that she “is doing very well” and slowly getting back into the swing of things.

Jobson said Middleton is taking a “less is more” approach as she starts to “carry out engagements” and “work behind the scenes.”

“Rather than travel all over the country all the time, like she used to, I think she will concentrate on more impactful events,” he told Hello!.

“If she has her way, she will come back in stages and do things that are important to her: because she doesn’t want to get ill again but also, I’m told, because she has a different perspective now,” he added.

Although she plans to attend more public events, her “focus will be on her family,” the “William & Kate”author claimed.

Middleton’s family — specifically her husband — has been a pillar of support throughout her cancer journey.
