Kate Middleton honored World Cancer Day on Monday ahead of a visit to the National Portrait Gallery in London. In an Instagram post, the Princess of Wales shared a photo taken by her youngest son, Prince Louis.

“Don’t forget to nurture all that which lies beyond the disease,” she wrote.

In the new photo, Middleton poses in the forest wearing one of her wardrobe essentials: a green Barbour coat from the label’s collaboration with Alexa Chung, which she paired with knee-high boots.

On Tuesday, the Princess stepped out in London for a visit to the National Portrait Gallery, where she paired a brown blazer with a black turtleneck and gray pinstripe trousers. Black patent leather boots and gold hoops completed her look.

Middleton joined a group of four- and five-year-old children at the museum to kick off a new initiative from The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, of which she is a patron.

The Princess’ latest outing follows the announcement of her cancer remission. Middleton revealed she had been diagnosed with the disease in 2024.

“It has been an incredibly tough couple of months for our entire family. But I’ve had a fantastic medical team who’ve taken great care of me for which I’m so grateful,” she said in a video last March.

The royal took a break from public appearances while seeking chemotherapy treatment.

“It is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focused on recovery,” she said in an Instagram post last month. “As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal. I am however looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead. There is much to look forward to. Thank you to everyone for your continued support.”
