The Princess of Wales Kate Middleton is back in her go-to pair of boots.
Members of the British royal family congregated in Sandringham to attend their annual Christmas Dy service. Amongst those in attendance was also King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Prince William, Prince Louis, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte. For the event both Middleton and the young princess wore a blue and green tartan acessories and coat. Middleton, in particular, wore a green Alexander McQueen coat with a nipped waist as well as a tartan scarf.
For shoes, the Princess of Wales wore a pair of custom Gianvito Rossi boots. The shoes were made of suede. They include a pointed toe. In addition, the boots sported a thick block heel, likely of about four inches. It is inclear how high the boot goes up but it may be knee-high.
Middleton has a defined sense of style often rewearing pieces, returning to the same labels, and replicating the same silhouette. To wit, this isn’t the first time she’s worn a long Alexander McQueen coat paired with a Gianvito Rossi boot. For Christmas 2023 she essentially wore the exact same look in a different colorway: she wore a blue Alexander McQueen look with blue suede boots. The boots appeared to be the exact same design as this year’s boot.
Just earlier this month she made a rare public appearance for a Qatar state visit. Again, she went with an Alexander McQueen jacket, this time in burgundy. Her boots were again Gianvito Rossi. They appear to be the same design as the other two pairs of boots but were made of a smooth burgundy leather.
Of course, its not only boots that she purchases from Gianvito Rossi. Middleton has often been spotted in Gianvito Rossi suede pumps. Those include a stiletto heel and come in a variety of colors. It’s the company’s 105 pump. According to the fashion brand Karen Millen, the association has helped Rossi: after an appearance in the 2023 Royal Variety Performance, Google searches for the label rose 301% worldwide.
