There isn’t anyone who doesn’t remember the wedding day of Kate Middleton and Prince William on 29 April 2011.
A bright and lovely morning, the new bride and her Royal groom captured the attention of the whole world and every tiny detail was discussed for days after.
Kate Middleton’s dress was an exquisite gown by Sarah Burton, Creative Director of the luxury design house, Alexander McQueen, and her makeup has been the source of a million rumours since then, but we knew little about her hair, until now.
Kate Middleton – Wedding Day
For years now, there has been a lot of confusion over Kate Middleton’s wedding day makeup. There was one MUA (that I met with) who taught the Duchess how to apply her own makeup. Since then, various other names have popped up and are said to have created the look on the big day.
Royals operate a ‘never complain, never explain’ so there has never been confirmation on who the MUA was or if Kate did her makeup herself as was believed at the time. Maybe we’ll never know, but we have found the hair hack her stylist used for those perfect bouncy curls she wore.
Styling The Hair
Good prep is the base of a great style if you want to avoid frizz and poor shape. To get extra bouncy hair, Pryce recommends using a diffuser to get lift and natural curls into the hair.
Or, for Kate Middleton’s wedding day hair, you could blow dry with a large round brush and finish with a wand for more controlled curls. By the sounds of it, that serum-in-cream sounds like a star buy for anyone with lots of hair who wants to look as polished as a Princess.
