Prince William has shared a delightful insight into his family life, revealing that his children enjoy playing a mischievous trick on him during their bike rides. While visiting Liverpool to support a charity called Cycle of Life, which encourages young people from various backgrounds to improve their health through cycling, the Prince of Wales shared the playful antics of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
The charity, benefiting from Children in Need, was where he engaged with youngsters who have been supported by the initiative since it was set up in 2020. During his engagement, Prince William joined in to pump up a bicycle tyre and savoured a hot chocolate while interacting with the beneficiaries.
As he checked the brakes on a bike, he humorously remarked on his children’s preference for stopping: “My children quite like pulling just the back brake and sliding along. Usually, the back wheel will come past you. There is a technique.”
Although he was scheduled for a brief cycling stint from the centre in Princes Road, Toxteth, adverse weather conditions led to its cancellation. Later in the day, as William continued his visit in Liverpool, he found himself surrounded by eager fans hoping for selfies and even had a starstruck moment upon meeting Liverpool football legend Sir Kenny Dalglish.
The Royal was warmly received as he departed the new Tiber community and football centre on Tagus Street, before heading to his car, reports the Mirror.

Prince William enjoyed a tour of the new centre, supported by The Royal Foundation’s community impact programme and set to open in February. He engaged with young fundraisers and even joined in a football match before discussing the sport with Sir Kenny Dalglish and former Everton players Ian Snodin and Graham Stuart.
Amidst their conversation, William humorously remarked that his team might “steamroll everyone” in the Premier League, while Stuart quipped about potential upsets in future matches. Reflecting on his participation in the football game, the prince joked: “We’ll ignore that. It is the worst thing when you turn up and try to play cold.”

Earlier that day, Prince William surprised fellow train passengers as he boarded an Avanti West Coast service from London to Liverpool. The 42-year-old Royal was seen engaging warmly with passengers and staff, leaving them pleasantly astonished to find the future King in their midst.
