It’s usually the “Housewives” who are in the midst of drama. But, recently, a “Housewife’s” son has been in the thick of the action, too.
“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Erika Jayne revealed in a new podcast interview that her kid, Tommy, was on the front lines of the Los Angeles wildfires.
“My son is a police officer with the LAPD,” Jayne said on the “Resilient Life” podcast, “The first thing he said was, ‘I need to go there.’ He was asking to go.”

3 Jane said on the pod, which is hosted by Ryan Manion — who founded the Travis Manion Foundation in honor of her brother, who died while serving with the Marines in Iraq — that Tommy was sent to the blazes in Malibu, where their family once had a home.
“He called me after his shift, and he said, ‘I don’t recognize where I’m at, Mom.’ This is really bad.’”
She added that, as the mother of a first responder, “You’re aware your children are their own human being and they have their own path, and I’m very proud of him. But at the same time, I’m like, ‘Please don’t do anything crazy! Please come home’.”
