“Real Housewives of Orange County” star Gina Kirschenheiter took to Instagram Saturday to defend herself after her dad, Gene Archer, accidentally complimented her from her own Instagram account.

Under a photo of the “RHOC” cast shared by @BravoDailyDish, Kirschenheiter’s dad wrote, “Love My Gal Gina. Best Daughter, Best Mommy, Best Friend ️️️️️.”

Because the comment was posted by Kirschenheiter’s username, many Bravo fans accused her of thinking she was logged into an alleged “burner account.”

She, however, shared the “real scoop” in a new video shared over the weekend.

In the clip, Kirschenheiter showed @BravoDailyDish’s post and the comment posted from her account, saying, “That was my dad commenting.”

“My dad logs into my account when I post, and he deletes mean comments on my post because he hates the thought of me having to come on social media and read hurtful things,” she explained.

Kirschenheiter, however, told her followers that her dad often logs into her account. Instagram

“And so, it makes him feel better to go on there and delete awful things that are written about his child. And I love my dad for this. But in reality, I don’t actually give a f–k what any of you people say, so… there you go. There’s the scoop.”

Kirschenheiter then captioned the video with the following: “My dad forgot to switch back to his account before writing this. ️ I love you dad ️ @summa777 Take the day off trolls, it’s Saturday. ️”

Following the reveal, many fans — and a few of Kirschenheiter’s co-stars — reacted to the situation.
