Sean “Diddy” Combs thanked his kids for “being strong” as he remains behind bars while awaiting trial for sex trafficking charges.
“I love y’all, I love y’all so much,” the disgraced rapper, 55, emotionally told his seven children when they called to sing him “Happy Birthday,” per a video posted to Instagram Monday by his son Justin Dior Combs.
“I can’t wait to see y’all. I just want to say that I’m proud of y’all, especially the girls. I mean, all y’all just for being strong.”
“Thank y’all for being strong, and thank y’all for being by my side and supporting me. I love you,” Sean continued.
“I got the best family in the world. [It’s] my birthday. I’m happy. Thank you.”
The “I’ll Be Missing You” artist also alluded to plans for his children to visit him at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, NY, this week as he added, “See you in a couple of days.”
In addition to Justin, 30, Sean is dad to sons Quincy Brown, 33, and Christian “King” Combs, 26, plus daughters Chance Combs, 18, twins D’Lila and Jessie Combs, 17, and Love Combs, 1.
The embattled hip-hop star shares Christian, D’Lila and Jessie with his late ex-girlfriend Kim Porter, whom he was romantically involved with from 1994 to 2007.
Sean also adopted Porter’s son Quincy, whose biological father is musician Al B. Sure.
The Bad Boy Records founder shares Justin with fashion designer Misa Hylton, while Chance’s mother is Sarah Chapman.
He welcomed his youngest, Love, with Dana Tran.
His six eldest kids have consistently shown their support for Sean since he was arrested in September and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.
Last month, his brood took to Instagram to call out the “absurdity” of allegations against their father in a joint statement.
“The past month has devastated our family,” they wrote. “Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media.
“We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family.”
The statement was accompanied by a photo of the music mogul posing with his children and mother, Janice Combs, at Love’s birthday party last year.
