Nothing says “will you marry me” like a topless painting of your intended fiancée.
Eleven Madison Park chef Daniel Humm popped the question to “Succession” actress Annabelle Dexter-Jones with a painting of her half dressed, legs akimbo and wearing a diamond ring.
Yesterday, Humm posted images of the revealing portrait of Dexter-Jones by his friend and favorite artist Francesco Clemente.
The chef also shared pics of the pair admiring the painting with the artist, and of the couple kissing in front of the artwork (see photos below). Humm captioned the post: “When you know, you know. With you it’s been so obvious . . . Never did I imagine someone so special would exist, and you have shown me what true love is. Together, we will be on this journey forever on.”
Insiders then confirmed to us that the pair are indeed betrothed. But it’s unclear if he popped the question by way of the painting, or if the piece is just a nice bonus. (It’s a generous gift either way — a Clemente painting sold in 2022 for an auction high of $1.9 million.)
No word on wedding plans yet.
This will be the second marriage for Humm, 48, and the first for Dexter-Jones, 38.
The Michelin-starred Swiss chef — whose restaurant is reliably ranked as one of the world’s best — will be joining Dexter-Jones’ comically talented extended family, which includes dad Mick Jones of Foreigner, half brother Mark Ronson and his wife, Grace Gummer, and half sisters Charlotte Ronson, a designer, and DJ Samantha Ronson.
