She’s making the wildest dreams of her performers and crew come true.
Taylor Swift gifted the scores of people who helped bring her lengthy Eras Tour to life generous bonuses in addition to their salaries.
Over the past almost two years, the pop star, 34, gave an extra $197 million to her dancers; choreographers; physical therapists; hair and makeup artists; wardrobe stylists; band members; instrument, sound, lighting and pyro technicians; riggers; carpenters; video team members, production staffers and assistants; truck drivers; caterers; merchandise staffers; and security personnel, Page Six can confirm.
People was first to report the news.
The outlet reported in August 2023, after Swift wrapped the United States leg of her tour, that she had given out more than $55 million in bonuses.
At the time, TMZ specified that the singer-songwriter gifted $100,000 to each of the circa 50 truck drivers who had transported her equipment all over the country.
The outlet further reported that others — including her dancers, band members, lighting and sound technicians, and caterers — also received a “very generous amount.”
According to the New York Times, the Eras Tour — which began in March 2023 and concluded Sunday — raked in more than $2 billion in ticket sales, which is “double the gross ticket sales of any other concert tour in history.”
Swift became a billionaire seven months into the record-breaking tour.
