It may be Taylor Swift’s birthday, but she seems to be the one handing out presents this year.
On Thursday, the eve of the singer’s 35th birthday, Swift paid a visit to a children’s hospital in Kansas City, where she met with several patients and staff members. While there, one young girl spoke to the Grammy-winning artist about what she wanted for Christmas this year: a $600 Dyson Airwrap.
To her surprise, she woke up the following day with a special present from Swift, according to a video shared on X.
“Yesterday, Taylor asked this sweet girl at the hospital what she wanted for Christmas and she said a Dyson Airwrap,” the caption on the video read. “Today, this showed up in her room with a note that said, ‘in case Santa doesn’t come through. Love, Taylor Swift.’”
“It’s a Dyson Air –” the young girl said in the clip, in shock as she tore the wrapping paper off of the box.
Her face lit up with a smile as she looked around the room with the new present in her arms. The rest of the room erupted into cheer as they reacted to the thoughtful present.
“No way,” one person said behind the camera, with another individual asking, “Isn’t that amazing?”
Swift spent time at Children’s Mercy Kansas City hospital Thursday night, hours before she rang in birthday No. 35.
In addition to the young lady seen in the aforementioned clip, the pop star also visited a patient named Rylie, who took several photos with the “Karma” singer, and an 11-year-old Swiftie named Baylee.
Swift gifted the latter with a signed copy of her “Eras Tour Book” during her visit, which Baylee’s mom, Melissa Nuzum, described as “the coolest, most unexpected surprise ever” on Facebook.
