Taylor Swift is taking her romance with the Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce to the next stage as she moves closer to the professional footballer’s mansion, after completing her record-breaking Eras Tour marathon.
The 35-year-old had been on tour around the globe for the better part of 18 months so making property decisions isn’t something that’s had the chance to be on her mind as she rehearsed Cruel Summer, Love Story and Style.
But a few weeks on from the end of the shows, which concluded in Canada on December 9, she is thinking about how she can be the best girlfriend possible as she makes the decision to relocate to Nashville in Tennessee.
That would mean she’s an hour-and-half away from Kelce’s six-million-dollar home in the Leawood region of Kansas City, compared to the much lengthier distances from her houses in New York City and Los Angeles.
It’s a notable step that suggests there is a priority shift in her relationship, which began in August 2023 but it isn’t quite what fans were hoping for with rumors of an engagement constantly circulating the pair.
Since she began dating the Chiefs’ tight end, Swift has gone on to appear at almost 20 NFL games since she was first spotted at the 41-10 victory over the Chicago Bears in September 2023.
She also made a determined trip back from Japan in February 2024 to make sure she was watching her partner compete in Super Bowl LVIII at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, where he went on to become a three-time champion.
However, the popstar missed the contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Wednesday’s Christmas Day as she celebrated the occasion with her family instead, although she tracked the game through Netflix.
Kelce made 84 yards from eight receptions in Pennsylvania on December 25 and scored a touchdown too, which gave the veteran footballer the outright franchise record for TDs in a Chiefs‘ uniform.
The play in the fourth quarter effectively sealed the victory for his side too.
