Princess Kate was gifted an incredible Christmas present by a royal fan who lives 384 miles away from Sandringham in a heartwarming moment during the traditional Royal Family walkabout to church on Christmas Day.
A 29-year-old royan fan travelled all the way from Paris to hand over the special gift to the Princess of Wales.
Louis Beauchamp, 29, came from Paris to give the Princess of Wales a scarf, The Telegraph reports.
Mr Beauchamp, an English teacher, said: “She was so genuine and down to the earth. We drove all the way because I knew she would be here. People can identify with her.
“I thought she was incredible right from the beginning. Being an English teacher, her job has been so inspiring for me.
“She’s had a tough year – she needs to know her fans are still here.”
The Princess of Wales had a challenging year as she underwent treatment after a cancer diagnosis.
Early in the year, the Princess revealed her cancer diagnosis, which required her to step back temporarily from royal duties and public appearances to focus on treatment.
Having completed chemotherapy in the late summer, she has been gradually returning to her public engagements, often showing remarkable resilience while maintaining a focus on family life.
In recent months, the senior royal attended the National Service of Remembrance and led the Together at Christmas carol concert, among other public duties.
On Christmas Day, she appeared in high spirits as she walked next to her children and doting husband, William.
