Taylor Swift wasn’t mentioned on the New Heights Christmas Eve podcast special, which featured Jason Kelce ‘s wife, Kylie.
However, during the hour-long episode, the 14-time Grammy-winning artist was not seen because her boyfriend, Travis, was chatting about the holiday with his brother and sister-in-law.
Swift was last seen at Arrowhead Stadium on December 21, when Travis and the Chiefs defeated the Houston Texans to improve their record to 14-1 in the hunt for a third consecutive championship.
Earlier this month, Kelce attended an Eras Tour-themed party for Swift to celebrate the end of her marathon tour.
Photos from the party, which was reportedly held on December 13, show Kelce and Swift enjoying time together and dancing together.
December 13 also happens to be Swift’s 35th birthday and the pop star celebrated her big day with a ‘meaningful and memorable’ ceremony.
Jason’s wife has appeared on the show several times before but this will be her first appearance since recently launching her own podcast ‘Not Gonna Lie’.
A week before the episode aired, Jason and Travis sent fans into a frenzy when they revealed a ‘very special’ guest would be joining them on the show.
Regular viewers have been hoping for Taylor Swift to appear on the show and since she just wrapped up her Eras Tour it seems like she’ll have time to make an appearance.
But even Swifties said last week that the guest will be WNBA star Caitlin Clark.
In an interview with the New York Times, Kylie seemed to hint that the authentic nature of her show is contributing to its strong start, while also indirectly criticizing Joe Rogan , who still runs one of the world’s top podcasts.
‘Maybe it’s the promise that you won’t be deceived,’ she suggests as a reason for her early success.
She added: ‘I don’t care about charts. I focus on putting out content that people enjoy consuming.
‘If that gets us up there (top spot) for a week, great. If that gets us up there longer than that, great. But I also don’t need to nurture any conflict that it creates.’
While appearing on New Heights, Kylie revealed her favorite holiday movie, which contrasts with her husband’s movie preferences.
‘Love Actually is one of my favourite films,’ Kylie confirms. ‘It’s like there’s more to the holidays than just that.’
‘Jason, maybe you’re the weirdo here,’ Travis declared. ‘I really liked Love Actually.’
‘[Jason] wouldn’t know romance if it was smacked in his face,’ Kylie added after hearing her husband talk about the romantic comedy. ‘So that’s the problem.’
